Q FAQ

Q1: What types of materials are your machines designed to process?

Our machines, including the JY-600 and JY-500 series, are specifically engineered for processing oriented and non-oriented silicon steel sheets. These are primarily used in the production of power transformers, distribution transformers, instrument transformers, and reactors.

Q2: What is the significance of "Double Shear" and "Multi-Punch" configurations?

These terms refer to the efficiency and complexity of the cutting process:

  • Double Shear: Equipped with two cutting units to enable high-speed processing of step-lap joints, which significantly reduces no-load loss in transformer cores.

  • Three/Four Punch: Indicates the number of integrated punching units for center holes or V-notches. For example, our JY-400 Double Shear Four Punch can complete complex hole patterns in a single pass.

Q3: What are the benefits of the "Reverse Stacking Type" system?

The Reverse Stacking technology (found in models like the JY-600 Reverse Stacking Type) automates the sorting and stacking of cut sheets. It ensures that sheets are arranged in the correct sequence for immediate assembly, minimizing manual handling and improving the overall precision of the transformer core stack.

Q4: How do you ensure the cutting accuracy of the sheets?

We utilize high-performance Servo Control Systems. A prime example is the JY-300 High Precision Servo Control Line, which provides micron-level control over feeding length and cutting angles, ensuring that every piece meets the strict tolerances required for high-efficiency transformer cores.

Q5: Which machine model is right for my production capacity?

Selection depends on the maximum width of the silicon steel strips you use:

  • JY-300/400 Series: Ideal for small to medium-sized distribution transformers.

  • JY-500/600 Series: Designed for large-scale power transformer production. You can find detailed specifications under our Silicon Steel Sheet Shearing Line category.

Q6: Do you offer customized solutions?

Yes. We can customize the punching die layouts, stacking methods, and software logic to match your specific transformer core designs and production workflow requirements.
